DPMS Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA)

The PTSA supports Draper Park Middle School by hosting activities and sharing news that help engage families in the education of our children and that recognizes students, educators, and staff.  The PTSA also advocates for laws and policies that improve our children’s health, safety, security and education.  Dues are only $6.00 per adult or student.

Welcome back to school to our amazing faculty, staff, and students! We are looking forward to a great year!
DPMS PTSA Student Club

Our first meeting is Friday, September 13, 8:30 – 9:15 am in the DPMS cafeteria.

Would you like to become a part of the PTSA student club? We would love to have you!

Please fill out the form below if you would like to join!

Student representatives are invited to take pictures of school activities and text them to Adrienne Jacobs at 801-824-0556 for posting on Instagram. Yes, students should be in the photos. Please ask each student in the photo if it’s ok to post their image on Instagram. Most middle school kids know if their parents don’t want them on Instagram. If in doubt, do not send the photo.  We are looking for a view into the DPMS classrooms, clubs, lunch, even crossing time between periods. Thanks!

The State of Utah and Canyons School Board legislation affects students and parents of Draper Park Middle School.  DPMS PTSA advocates to improve our children’s health, safety, security and education.

You can follow other bills that Utah PTA is watching at this link.

Key Dates

Tuesday, February 18, 2020: PTA Student Day at the Capitol

From Utah PTA facebook page:Sometimes during the legislative session a situation arises wherein we do not have a resolution to speak to a bill. The Utah PTA Executive Committee can create and vote to support a position statement that may be used for one year only so that a Resolution can be created and ratified at either the Spring Utah PTA Leadership Convention or Fall Utah PTA Advocacy Conference.

Please send your comments to Chad Smith, Legislative VP.
