We would like to invite you to participate the upcoming Spring Student-Led Conferences on Monday (2/28; from 3:30pm-7:30pm) and Tuesday (3/1; from 3:30pm-7:00pm) at Draper Park Middle School. The purpose of this event is to discuss questions and concerns with a specific teacher about their course and your child’s performance.
The conferences on Monday (2/28) will require you to schedule an appointment on Skyward for a 10-minute Zoom call. The conferences on Tuesday (3/1) will be an in-person, open house (no appointment necessary) event that you can attend with your student. There is no need to attend both nights.
The Zoom conferences will be limited to a 10-minute call per teacher. Because we know that many parents will want to participate and there are a limited number of timeslots available, we are also asking that parents check the Skyward grading system first to determine if there is a need to have a conversation with a specific teacher. For the sake of clarifying, please have your child participate in the conversation with the teacher.
As always, if you have a question or a concern, you do not have to wait until parent-teacher conferences to discuss it with a teacher. You are always welcome to email the teacher directly and work through any concerns that arise.
To sign up for a Zoom conference with your child’s teacher on February 28, please log into the Skyward Family Access system starting on Friday, February 11, at 8:00 AM and follow the attached instructions. To Zoom with your child’s teacher during your appointment, please use the links provided through our school website. You will be able to make an appointment until the time slots are full or February 25, at 5:00 PM. Unfortunately, we have a limited number of appointments for each teacher and would encourage you to visit us in-person on Tuesday, March 1st if you do not schedule an appointment for the Zoom night.
Access to schedule a Zoom meeting will be open February 11th through February 25th.

Sincerely,
